Simple answer
Z-score एक distance measure है। Zero के पास value reference median के पास होती है। Negative value median से नीचे होती है। बहुत low value indicator के हिसाब से closer review मांग सकती है।
इसीलिए calculator सिर्फ वजन या लंबाई देखकर final बात नहीं कहता। Same weight अलग age और height वाले बच्चों में अलग meaning रख सकता है।
